Health & Human Services
Protecting and promoting the health and well-being of our families and communities are the critical foundation for our nation’s economic growth and global leadership in the 21st century.
Yet we continue to confront grave questions about how well we care for our citizens: Why do so many children languish in foster care? Are our public health systems prepared for pandemic flu? How can every family secure its financial future? Can we reap the benefits of new technologies without creating new health and environmental risks?
Pew’s Health and Human Services national program aims to improve the health and well-being of all Americans with practical policy solutions developed through rigorous research and analysis. In a policy environment that is often polarized, we seek consensus for fundamental, positive change.
